Funny ConversationThe funniest shit happened just recently.
My brother, :
:, has a Door Poster of Cammy White from Street Fighter from UDON Entertainment, Line Art by Alvin Lee and Colors/Colours by Christine Choi, hanging on the wall. As soon as you come in, you would see it. Appearently, the mid section of Cammy is eye-level... LOL[link]
So, my father and I were talking about art and other things and I brought up the Cammy Door Poster that is up on the wall in my brother's room. My father got pissed off and told me that he don't want that in his house in my brother's room. So, I talked about other things that are art and I think he's finding it offensive cause it sounded like that he was. I pretty much love pissing people off with my talks Heh heh... Sometimes!
Anyways, my mother, hears the conversation and well... She's seen it and haven't really talked about it though. She knows the character very well which is pretty amazing for my part! She takes my father side on this (Not the first time stuff like this happens since i'm always left on the dust and at rare occasions they would take my side). My father said that its vulgar and that I should respect my mother (I'm actually confused by that comment cause I took it as a sign of jealousy that i'm uncertain of like my mother can't have a body like that or something I dunno...). I'm like okay... I basically respect art from clothed to nudity because there's no perversion for an artist perspective. I don't even think that its vulgar at all! I could argue a really good case against my parents because stuff like this has been happening since the History of Art and these things have been in Museums and pretty much in our modern day age, art is respected by law. I can go on and on
So since I have a positive attitude and alot of respect for art, my parents thinks that my attitude stinks...
Anyways, My father left the house for a bit cause we going Trinidad later and gotta get some stuff. Then, my mother and I got into the same conversation where my father and I left off... She was telling me how it is vulgar and its not respectable for women and stuff like that. She also mention our religion which is Hinduism and I mentioned that there was something "Vulgar" in our religion. I was talking about the picture of Mother Kali where she is standing on my favorite god, Lord Shiva. Where she's topless. My mother said that Mother Kali was NEVER topless and that it was a demon. I asked her confusingly, that it was a demon that stepped on him?... I totally disagreed! I went on my father's laptop real quick to show her. I Google Searched "Goddess Kali" and went on Images and BAM! There was plenty of pics where I was right and proved her wrong (Which I commonly do in an argument or whatever). Next thing you know, she said that she got a headache after studying the picture carefully LMAO
She said that if I respect art so much then I should go outside naked. I said no and that I think THAT's vulgar and that I do not feel like streakin'
